"OK, Boomer" Is the Ultimate Generation Z Clap-back
Chances are you've seen the phrase all over social media and might be a fan of it. "OK boomer" is a phrase Gen Zer's are using to clap back at older people or people who just don't like change, whether it's about culture or especially on things about politics.
What does "OK boomer" mean?

Meanwhile, in twitterverse:
boomers: *years of “safe space,” “snowflake,” & “participation trophy” shit-talking from the people who destroyed affordable housing & education & sent later generations to fight the Forever Wars*— π±π°ππ― ππ’π π¨π’π± ππ‘ππͺπ° (@BecketAdams) November 6, 2019
gen-x, millennials, & zoomers: ok, boomer
boomers: this is literally a hate crime
"Ok, boomer" is similar to "Men are thrash" in the way that it's obviously not a literal blanket generalization, and shouldn't be regarded as such.— Jaia Yap (@jaiayap) November 7, 2019
Rather, it's a criticism against a particular attitude and way of thinking—also enabled and supported by privilege.
"OK boomer" is so much nicer than what the memes were actually saying which was "shut the fuck up boomer" pic.twitter.com/KWhhC24TIq— resting witch face (@girlziplocked) November 7, 2019

Watch the trailer below:
Basing on the trailer the movie might depict the country’s colonizers as good and seems like they are showing Lapu-Lapu as the villain in the Battle of Mactan.
A lot of netizens have shared their sentiments about ‘Elcano & Magellan’.
There's an animated movie about Magellan and just... YIKESSSS.— ππ―π²π₯π (@satvrncat) November 6, 2019
Stop depicting colonizers as good guys. pic.twitter.com/Q68s4uxOY9
I’m gonna say this once: that Magellan film’s animation is terrible and movies like that usually fade into obscurity so literally STOP TALKING ABOUT IT, STOP GIVING IT MILEAGE, and just let it die a fast and quiet death— chelli (@chellireyy) November 6, 2019
like all animated movies of that calibre
